This was my first attempt at digital painting. Well, my first attempt that didn't look like utter crap, I should say. I also was not about to attempt hair because I'm pretty much positive I would have royally screwed it up.  That's why I kinda blended it into the newsprint background.  The image was obviously inspired by the Fright Night 2 artwork.
